Reduce your energy consumption with an energy performance contract

GreenFlex can help you implement projects to improve your energy performance, through the Energy Performance Contract (EPC). This type of contract, with a commitment to results, enables you to renovate your site or your equipment without having to use up any cash.

Energy Performance Contract (EPC), a tool for improving your energy performance

Do you want to reduce your energy consumption? Do you want to carry out improvement work and manage your site’s energy and environmental performance without any cash outflow?

The Energy Performance Contract (EPC) is a contract that allows you to make double savings: energy and financial. GreenFlex commits to achieving an energy performance level and takes charge of the entire project: renovating or replacing equipment (from sizing to acceptance of the work), financing the project, implementing energy management actions in parallel, monitoring energy performance using standardised measurement protocols, while earning a return on the energy savings achieved!

This project will enable you to commit to an energy performance approach, comply with the Fit for 55 directive and make significant energy savings without having any cash outflow.

How do I set up an Energy Performance Contract?

Energy Performance Contracting requires a combination of our many areas of expertise: human support, data intelligence with our GreenFlexIQ platform and financing.

For your energy efficiency improvement project, we offer you dedicated support from our technical and financial teams.

GreenFlex supports you throughout your project to optimise it and offer you a guarantee of effective performance and results. The Energy Performance Contract consists of several stages:

  • Energy review: we carry out an analysis of your site, its uses and equipment (boilers, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, refrigeration units, etc.).
  • In-depth analyses: the relevant avenues considered during the energy review are studied to enable the validation of the actions to be implemented, the potential energy savings, the corresponding performance commitment and the measurement and verification protocol for monitoring changes in energy performance.
  • Implementing energy-efficiency measures: our experts will support you as project managers in consulting service providers, monitoring and taking delivery of the work, carrying out the necessary energy optimisation and financing your measures through a combination of subsidies, EWC incentives and third-party financing. It should be noted that EWC premiums can be “enhanced” as part of an Energy Performance Contract.
  • Measuring energy savings: the EPC is a tool that involves measuring the savings achieved, compared with the baseline situation. We detail our performance measurement operations in accordance with the International Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
  • Monitoring energy consumption: our energy efficiency experts will support you throughout the energy performance contract, from implementation to monitoring the energy action plan and the progress made. Thanks to our GreenFlexIQ platform, you can also monitor changes in your energy consumption, your energy bills, and your fleet of equipment.

How to finance your energy savings?

To speed up the implementation of your energy performance programme and enable you to make savings, GreenFlex offers you innovative financing solutions that can be combined to optimise the profitability of your project and preserve your cash flow:

  • White Certificates (EWC)
  • Grants
  • Leasing, leaseback & third-party financing
  • All our financing solutions

Thanks to our GreenFlexIQ platform, we can provide several modules to improve the management of your energy and environmental performance, in line with your Energy Performance Contract.

How can the EPC help you comply with regulations?

n view of the increasing number of new obligations, installing a Building Management System (BMS) will enable you to control your energy-consuming equipment.

The Energy Performance Contract (EPC) is a solution for carrying out your energy renovation work, reducing your energy bills, monitoring your performance, and improving the thermal comfort of your buildings.
